DOS Code Review / Built for GitHub

Better code.Before the merge.

A second set of eyes on your pull requests. Find bugs, challenge findings, and get fixes you can act on before you merge.

Connect your GitHub repositories from the DOS dashboard.

SecurityChallenged by the Critic

An order ID is not authorization.

A signed-in user can request another user's order. Scope the lookup to the authenticated owner.

Reviewer finds the defectCritic checks the evidence

Less noise. More signal.

A review you can act on.

Built around functional defects and concrete failure scenarios.

Look beyond syntax

Check security, logic, concurrency, performance, and API contracts in the changed code.

Challenge every finding

When the Reviewer flags potential bugs, the Critic checks each claim against the diff and rejects unsupported findings.

Fix where you work

Read inline comments and suggested changes in GitHub. Add .dos/review.md to guide reviews with your own conventions.

Your workflow, upgraded

  1. 01

    Connect

Install the DOS GitHub App and choose the repositories you want reviewed.

  2. 02

    Review

Open a pull request. The Reviewer inspects the diff; any candidate findings go to the Critic for verification.

  3. 03

    Decide

Assess the evidence, apply useful suggestions, and keep control of the merge.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Does it replace a human reviewer?

It adds another review layer. Your team still owns design decisions, test coverage, and the final merge.

Will it automatically change my code?

Findings and fix proposals appear in GitHub. You decide which suggestions to apply; Code Review does not automatically commit or merge them.

Can I tailor reviews to my repository?

Yes. Add .dos/review.md for repository-specific guidance, and manage connected repositories and review settings in the dashboard.
